Experience the heart of Everglades National Park on Crystalaire Adventures first Winter Escape!

Leave the icy wind chill and snow behind and enter another world. We're not talking Disney World or Miami Beach, but Old Florida - flat water rivers, lush tropical forest, alligators, manatees, sea turtles and beaches . Imagine paddling quietly, observing breathtaking beauty and gliding up close and personal with the local animal life. Our trip will be through the 10,000 Island area, where the Glades meet the Gulf of Mexico. Here the water switches back and forth between salt and freshwater. We'll start the trip in the dense tropical swamp paddling through narrow creek tunnels created by hanging Spanish moss and eventually end up in the midst of island after island surrounded by crystal clear waters. We'll camp on islands and in Chickees, elevated camping platform above the water. This trip does not include air fare to Miami but will be organized after registration with the entire group.
